WEEK 1 | BUSINESS LOGISTICS & PACKAGING YOUR CLIENT

We’ll cover the definitions of impression management, self-presentation, and personal branding, along with helping you set up your business in a way that’s conducive to personal branding clients. We’ll also help you price your consulting packages and share marketing techniques to reach your targeted clientele. Once we have the business logistics down, we’ll move on to the logistics of packaging your client through their appearance, brand identity and their messaging. Learn how to position your client for success and how to brand them across all their marketing touch points with the public.

WEEK 2 | BUILDING VISIBILITY & MAKING LASTING IMPRESSIONS

During the second week you’ll learn about high and low visibility tactics. We’ll discuss how to work with your clients on a networking, public speaking, and community involvement strategy. We’ll also talk about social media marketing, pro-tactics for boosting credibility through their website, the importance of photography and video, and how to collect testimonials that sell. You’ll also discover how your clients can boost their personal brand through information products and we’ll take a look at several case studies of brands done right.

WEEK 3 | WORK WEEK AND GRADUATION

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR: SHAUNA VANBOGART

Shauna VanBogart started her image consulting career in 2007 as a personal image and brand consultant. Working her way from a solo shop to a small team of specialized experts, Shauna’s image consultancy became the one-stop-shop for personal transformation which was eventually rebranded as Best Kept Self in 2013. In 2011, after several requests from aspiring image consultants, Shauna founded the Studio for Image Professionals to fill the void in the image industry of relevant entrepreneurial education in combination with modern technical image training. Shauna has a Master’s Degree in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University with a research emphasis on impression management in a digital world. She also holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Iowa in Communication and Entrepreneurship. In addition, she has been the recipient of a 40 Under 40 award in business and named one of Charleston’s Most Influential Women in Business. Shauna is known in the industry for embracing a modern and cutting-edge approach to image consulting and personal branding.
